How long will it take to launch a new store with Code Collective?

Most builds are completed in 150 days or less, depending on complexity. We’ll map out a clear timeline before we begin so you always know what’s going to be completed and when.

What if I’m in the middle of a rebrand or significant design change?

Once you're done with the rebrand, we can use it as the foundation to build your new store.

What makes Code Collective stores different?

Do I need a developer after launching the new store?

Not necessarily. Our theme is easy to use so you can manage most things yourself. But if you want to keep improving post-launch, we can transition you into a monthly retainer for ongoing support.

What content do I need to provide in order to build a new store?

Before we start, we’ll need your brand guidelines, logo files, any required fonts, and as many product or lifestyle assets as possible. If some of that is still in production, we can use placeholders. Just note that changes after design approval may require additional work.

What technology do you use to complete store builds?

We use Confluence for documentation, Trello for project management, Figma for design, and GitHub to manage our codebase.

Do we need to be on Shopify Plus?

No. We work with high-growth Shopify brands on both standard and Plus plans, as long as the store foundation supports improvement.

Can we start with one service and switch later?

Yes. Some brands begin with ongoing improvements and later decide to rebuild, while others rebuild first and then move into a performance retainer.

Is there a minimum commitment?

Yes. Ongoing services have a three-month minimum, followed by a 30-day out clause. This allows enough time to plan, execute, and measure meaningful improvements.

How much does it cost to build a new store?

New store builds are custom scoped based on complexity, migration requirements, and design needs. For detailed pricing and a tailored proposal, speak with our team.

How do we know which option is right for us?

If your store has technical debt, outdated architecture, or requires a major redesign, a new build is likely the better starting point. If your foundation is solid and you want to improve performance without rebuilding, ongoing improvements are usually the right fit.
